Chaplain & Community Liaison
Bishop Richard D. Prim is a board-certified chaplain. He was a Church Pastor in Kansas City, Kansas for 30 years. He retired in 2015 and went back to school to pursue (CPE) Clinical Pastor Education at Kansas University Hospital in Kansas City, Kansas, and Advent Health Shawnee in Shawnee Mission, Kansas to become a chaplain. He has worked as a hospice chaplain since 2018. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree from Indiana Christian University. He later earned his Master’s in Ministry and Doctor of Ministry Degree from Southern California School of Ministry. He served on numerous boards and committees both nationally and locally. He excels in providing compassionate, empathetic, sympathetic care to patients and their families. He believes God uses him to show His love and mercy and care. He believes “If you can’t figure out your purpose, figure out your passion. For your passion will lead you right into your purpose.”
