Dr. Appl graduated medical school in 1984 and started his family practice clinic in the Argentine area of Kansas City, Kansas in 1987. He chose family practice because growing up in a small town in western Kansas there was only one doctor and he cared for his neighbors. Dr. Appl also enjoys the variety of seeing patients ranging in age from children to adults over the age of 100 years old. Dr. Appl says since the age of 5 years old, he has always known that he wanted to be a doctor.
